SUMMARY
The Identity and Democracy (ID) group in the European Parliament has expelled the far-right German party Alternative for Germany (AfD). The decision, made by a two-thirds majority vote, reflects internal conflicts and growing tensions within the ID group, particularly concerning the AfD's controversial positions and actions. The expulsion marks a significant moment as it is the first time the ID group has removed a member party, underscoring the broader challenges of unity among Europe's right-wing factions.
The ID group's leader, Marco Zanni, emphasized that the decision was made after careful consideration of the AfD's activities, which were deemed incompatible with the group's principles and objectives. The AfD's expulsion is expected to have notable repercussions, including a potential reduction in the ID group's influence within the European Parliament. This move also highlights the ongoing struggle within European right-wing politics to balance ideological coherence and strategic alliances. The AfD, known for its anti-immigration and Eurosceptic stance, has yet to respond formally to the expulsion.
NEWSCRITICISM
The year 2024 (and the whole decade with it) is a time of great political seismic changes across the world. Sure, the political climate is changing and evolving fast as always in the nature of politics and its effect-characteristics on the world and our experience with it (because the nature and handling of power by its nature always changes), BUT in this decade, we have seen massive changes and rifts on politics across the world. We have seen and entered ourselve in an era of political upheaval, so expect political changes in any form as rapid as possible. It does not too even help in the assesment when everyone in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (the Digital Revolution and its technological advancements since the 1990's) has access to data across the globe faster than ever before, so everyone is conscious about the politics in the country - making everyone, including political actors, aware of the world.
Now, speaking of that, the Far-Right in Europe is now facing a rift between themselves, a rift between ideological factions in the far-right section of the European Parliament had begun with the expulsion of the AfG (Alternative for Germany; a far-right German political party espousing "High Far-Right"* policies focusing on a mild form of Racialism, specifically in this case, German Racialism) in the ID group (Identity and Democracy; also a far-right party, but espousing "Low Far-Right"** policies under Ultranationalism/proto-Fascism and Fascism). This rift exposed the ideological rifts between the parties and the political actors within the party itself, thus signifying a clash of two political dimensions in European politics by and to itself. However, the situation within the Far-Right remains ideological stable - its just that they have to expel far-righters who have gone... to far from the far-right itself (especially those belonging to the Racialist group of individuals and political polities/organs/parties that are Racialist-leaning). However, we do note that this may be a minor change for some people, but this actually changes wholly the face of European Far-Right politics itself.
Thus, for the first time, the Far-Right ideologies began a new chapter in its political experience of existence: that of a clearly defined ideological split in the European Parliament manifests today. We are still watching over this new development in ideolgoical politics.

*High Far-Right: refers to ideologies that belong to the Racialist Group, where race is central to the idealism of a civilization and society as basis for its political identity.
**Low Far-Right: refers to ideologies that cannot be classified as belonging to the Conservative or Reactionary groups and thus are more radical than them - thus Ultranationalism/proto-Fascism and Fascism belong here.
