SUMMARY

The Democratic Republic of Congo's army announced it thwarted an attempted coup in Kinshasa on Sunday. The coup attempt occurred near the residence of Economy Minister Vital Kamerhe in the Gombe area, close to the president's offices at the Palais de la Nation. General Sylvain Ekenge, speaking on national television, stated that the coup involved both Congolese and foreign nationals, including Americans and a British man. The attack resulted in the deaths of four assailants, including the leader, Christian Malanga, a naturalized American, and the arrest of about 40 others.

During the attempted coup, shots were heard near the Palais de la Nation, and social media videos showed men in fatigues carrying Zaire flags, the name of the country under former president Mobutu Sese Seko. The coup plotters reportedly intended to attack the homes of other government officials but were unsuccessful. President Felix Tshisekedi, who was re-elected in December with a significant majority, has yet to form a new government. The situation in Kinshasa has since calmed, though certain streets near the Palais de la Nation remained closed later in the day.

NEWSCRITICISM

The failed execution of the coup d'etat attempt by the New Zairian Government-In-Exile speaks volumes about its circumstances on how it was planned: it was disorganized and improperly executed by its organizers of the attempt. It was clear from the onset that they do not have enough political and societal force to enforce their will on the people in order to initative a mass authentic awakening, as per the praxis of Mobutism. And although they have a strong foundation on which it can be executed, their plans did not properly materialize in a strong and systematic manner. What was supposed to be an organized coup d'etat attempt by the New Zairian Government-In-Exile turned from a good and planned execution of the attempt turned into disorganization. Also, because of the sheer amount of force implemented to stamp out the revolutionaries by the so-called Democratic Republic of the Congo by its forces aimed to quickly stamp out any opposition to the stability of their so-called country.

If it was probably executed and well organized, the people may have time to look upon the events that involve within their country and to reawaken them against the decadence and hedonism of the false Congolese society and civilization. And in true Mobutist fashion, the people will glamour for an authentic awakening for their country; for the true Zairean wishes to get rid of all things that plagued the corruption and worthlessness of thier country - for the Congo is a tool of Western and Eastern imperialists to destroy the authentic and independent soul of Africa. If the coup d'etats succeeds, other African Nation-States will follow and then the heritage of all African Civilizations maybe be awakened one day, with authentic, not borrowed ideas. The people and the intellectuals of Zaire want an authentic civilization, not a corrupt nation. The Zairean - not Congolese - people are not expoited tools for thier own subjugation by other powers. Only Zaireanism and Mobutism - not a leeching president - can lead the so-called 'Congo' into greatness, independent and true in spirit.

I hope one day, that a person who truly loves Zaire and is immersed in its identity and ideals shall attempt a coup against the false nation which have been corrupting and destorying the true identity of the people be done again, this time with proper and planned execution, and this time with situational adaptability and the mass support of the people, and with Mobutism and its ideas (especially the idea of Authenticity) as its core ideal. I hope one day, the people will raise the banners of Zaire again and carry the book of the great revolution - that being the Manifesto of N'sele.
